Document Description
Project is a routine maintenance project defined as periodic activities conducted which are necessary to maintain the ship berth depth of -34 feet Mean Lower Low Water plus one foot of allowable over-depth of Redwood Creek at the Port of Redwood City Berths 1 through 4. A total of three dredging events will occur within the years 2015 through 2024, with a total maximum of 150,000 cubic yards (CY) removed. Fifty Thousand CY of sediment will be removed during each of the three dredging events. The dredging footprint is 5.2 acres. A closed mechanical bucket will left and place the sediment into a closed barge. The barge will be inspected prior to dredging and will be electronically monitored for leaks during the course of the Project Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2015-0199-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602 to the Permittee, Port of Redwood City.
