- This project will conduct archaeological investigation of the proposed site of accessible improvements at Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. Archaeological testing is being done to determine if archaeological deposits extend into the project areas at the Arroyo Seco Day Use Area and/or Green Valley Campground. The work will include 60-80 hand-excavated auger holds or shovel test pits a minimum of 50 cm in depth. DPR standard project requirements have been incorporated into this project to avoid and/or minimize environmental impacts and can be obtained by contacting the environmental coordinator.
