- Project activities are limited to routine maintenance of the Bear Canyon Creek reservoir and associated fish passage structures. Routine Maintenance shall be defined as periodically scheduled and implemented activities necessary to maintain fish passage, and water trasport capacity of Bear Canyon Creek: 1) Sediment and debris removal to restore water flow within and around the reservoir outlet pipe, and to maintain functioning fish passage structures. 2) Physical removal of up to 2,500 cubic yards of accumulated sediment from Bear Canyon Creek reservoir, when no flow, or minimal flow is present. 3) Maintain and repair in-kind of existing stream gauges. Routine mainenance does not include the removal of or damage to living riparian vegetation.
