Document Description
The project is limited to: 1) Removing 19 dead or dying alder trees ranging in diameter between 4-10 inches and retaining the stumps for slope stability. 2) Pruning of existing on-site alders and willows for biotechnical project materials. 3) Removing an approximately 300-foot long section of non-native riparian vegetation such as Himalayan blackberry, vinca and arundo. 4) Grading to a 2;1 slope and installing a willow brush mattress along approximately 250-feet of stream bank. 5) Installing erosion control fabric and planting native trees, forbs, shrubs, grasses and seed along an approximately 250-foot long section of stream above the willow brush area.
