The project is limited to trail improvements and rehabilitation to bring the Heather Cutoff and Miwok trail conditions and construction techniques up to current standards established by the California Department of Parks and Recreation. The standards are intended to provide all weather safe trail use while reducing or eliminating hydro-modification and concentrated sediment delivery to receiving waters below the trail.
