Document Description
The project is limited to modifying the stream banks to create an at grade stream crossing. The left and right banks will be graded back to create flatter slopes so vehicles and equipment can cross the stream. This new ford crossing will be installed upstream of an existing box culvert bridge that cannot support the size of equipment needed to cross the stream. Both banks will be graded to a maximum slope of 2:1 (horizontal:vertical) beginning at the existing toe of the bank. On the north bank the approach will be 25-foot long and 12-foot wide. Ont the south bank the approach will be 12-foot long and 12-foot wide. No grading will occur along the streambed. SAA #1600-2015-0292-R3.
