Document Description
The project is to replace and realign the old pedestrian bridge on the Mitchell Caverns Trail with a new 42 foot fiberglass bridge. The purpose of the project is to make both the trail and the bridge more sustainable with its surroundings. Rocks and local material will be used to modify and realign the excessing trail at the bridge location. New concrete abutments will be formed and pour with concrete. Wood will be used for the forms and the concete will mixed on site. All materials and tools will be transported by hand to the work site.
