General Plan map amendment and rezoning to modify 7.2 acre site from an Industrial designation to a General Commercial designation including a rezoning from Industrial to Visitor Commercial. The General plan amendment includes a text amendment to remove all references to Floor area ratio (FAR) from commercial and industrial land use designations since the zoning ordinance does not include FAR criteria.
The project also includes a Special Use permit, and Design review for the construction of a 4-story (112) room hotel and a future 4 story 80 room hotel. The project also includes 4000 sf of retail space and a 4004 sf restaurant pad.
