Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0103-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District. The project is limited to the installation of a 54-inch wide, 300-foot-long half-inch thick steel casing, 17.5 feet below the existing grade, under the City Creek Bypass Channel at Central Avenue using a trenchless construction method (jack-and-bore). The steel casing shall be used to convey a regional recycled water pipeline (RRWP) as part of a wastewater treatment system. A drilling pit shall be installed at the north end and a receiving pit shall be installed at the south end. In the event of an issue with the jack-and-bore construction methods proposed, trenching within the 54-inch wide, 300-foot-long project area may be employed.
