Document Description
An SEIR is required pursuant to a Ventura County Superior Court judgment finding that the County, in 2005, failed to address, under CEQA, an increase in the height of the ten then-unbuilt Replacement Clinic from approximately 75 feet to approximately 90 feet as part of the County's decision to relocate the Replacement Clinic to a new location closer towards the center of the VCMC campus. The SEIR will focus on the issue of height and profile-related impacts, particularly as it relates to how the increased height (from approximately 75 feet to approximately 90 feet) of the as-built Replacement Clinic visually impacts surrounding areas along Foothill Road, Agnus Drive, and Estrella Street. The County will not study, consider, approve or implement any modification or mitigation measure that reduces the as-built size of height of the Replacement Clinic.
