Document Description
DGS proposes to replace and relocate the existing non-compliant vertical wheelchair lift on the 4th Floor West Wing. The proposed location for the new lift will allow for compliance into the lift as well as clearance into the Committee Room entrance door. Original plans show that stairs exist in the current location of the lift. Removal of the existing lift will expose existing concrete stairs. The stairs will be repaired as necessary prior to carpet installation. These stairs will serve as an additional path to the other hearing rooms and also as a path to the East Annex, easing congestion in a high traffic area.
