Document Description
Project is limited to building a temporary rock gabion structure with galvanized hog panel structures that will be 6-feet tall, 30-inches wide and 16-feet long. It will be placed within Butte Creek adjacent to the Diversion 55 intake structure to protect fish from entrainment into the diversion ditch. Approx. 2 feet of existing cobble sitting on the bottom of the creek will be removed by hand to create a flat, structurally stable surface for the rock gabion. Once erected and in place, approx. 20 cubic yards of 4 to 8 inch, clean cobble will be used to fill the gabion structure by hand.
