Document Description
Project will replace an existing farm road crossing at the same location. The new crossing will utilize two by side by side 42" diameter and 48' long Class IV reinforced concrete pipes. Approx. 20 cubic yards of dirt will be excavated from the channel to accommodate culverts. The lower half of the culverts will be embedded in 3/4 inch crushed rock. Clean fill dirt will be utilized to cover the top part of the culverts to match the existing road's profile. Rock slope protection will be used to stabilize the channel bed, banks and fill the slope upstream and downstream. The work will be accomplished when the channel is dry. The proposed project will permanently impact approx. 0.042 acres of Dept. jurisdictional areas consisting of 0.014 acres of ruderal grasses and 0.028 of seasonal wetland vegetation.
