Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a Capital Preventative Maintenance (CAPM) project to repair failed surfaces and overlay 0.2 feet of rubberized hot mix asphalt. This project is located on State Routes 120 and 108 in Stanislaus and Tuolumne Counties, near Chinese Camp, CA. The purpose of the project is to preserve and extend the life of the existing pavement and improve the ride quality. Work will include overlay existing lanes and shoulders, upgrade metal beam guard rail, upgrade dikes to the current standards, upgrade or replace down-drains as necessary, shoulder backing and placing asphalt concrete overlay, and replace or upgrade existing culverts.
