Document Description
FIELD will use grant funds to restore 164 acres of sensitive habitat in the MIddle Knob OHV subregion in the BLM Rigdecrest area where significant problems with off-road vehicle incursions have developed. The actual restoration trail work covers 7.5 miles. The restoration activity would include the following criteria and techniques: Restoreation of designated closed routes, stabilization of natural land contour; installation of 400 feet of preventative peeler post; placement of carsonite utility markers, vertical mulching, wattle placement on sloped contours, and photo documentation.
