Document Description
The project will disguise and restore approximately 30 discontinuous miles of trails degraded by illegal OHV use. Restoration activities include installing vertical and horizontal mulch, rocks, and berms; raking disturbed areas; installing straw bales and other barriers; soil pitting; seed bank transfer, erosion control via grading, digging catchments, and installing water bars and check dams; revegetation via broadcast seeding, transplanting grasses, and cholla propagation; and signage. Other methods may include geotextile netting and permeon application.
