The restoration activity involves the following criteria and techniques: restoration or designated closed routes, stabilization of natural land contour; placement of carsonite utility markers, vertical mulching, wattle placement on sloped contours; and photo documentation. Fieldcrews would only use hand tools to perform vertical mulching and to stabilize the natural land contour and hand augers to install preventative fencing.
