Document Description
The project involves blocking and restoring routes and allowing natural regeneration to occur on five segments (2.45 miles) of routes including four segments (1.56 miles) of unauthorized routes, five impact areas (71 acres), and one segment (0.89 miles) bypassed with a new trail reroute. The reroute is not part of this Grants Program-funded restoration project. The work involves sub-soiling (deep tilling), constructing drainage structures, spreading woody slash, installing erosion control material (e.g., wood straw, straw wattles, silt fence), installing rock, fence, or log barriers, and posting closure signs.
