Document Description
Permittee proposes to complete short term repairs and maintenance on the Laguna Creek Pump Station Facility, which was designed to minimize flooding in the low areas between Laguna and Milpas Streets. Repairs that are needed for phase 1 are: 1) repair of the channel wall and stabilization of the walls, which are compromised by ground squirrels and vegetation growth, 2) maintenance of the existing channel by removing approximately 100 cubic yards of sediment and vegetation, 3) construction and installation of an additional in-channel debris rack, and 4) repair of a wet well inlet debris screen and installation of improved lighting and cameras to monitor conditions; Phase 2; Repair of Tide Gate #3, replacement of an out Flow cover for the storm drain outlet, and removal and replacement of the pump station rooftop; Phase 3: restoration of 9,420 square feet of Mission Creek lagoon in accordance to the restoration plan, once it is submitted and approved by CDFW, Phase 4: removal of excess sediments ahead of anticipated large storm events.
