Document Description
The project is limited to the replacement of a failing 24-inch by 60-foot long corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culvert with a 36-inch by 80-foot double wall high density polyethylene pipe. The new culvert will be installed at the native stream grade and is sized to accommodate the 100-year flood. A rock energy dissipater composed of 12 tons of 1/2-ton sized riprap will be installed at the outlet, and rock will be installed to replace the existing concrete inlet. The road crossing embankment will be reconstructed with engineered fill.
