Document Description
Project is limited to the repair of a previously existing 20 inch diameter crude oil pipeline operated by Shell Pipeline Company, LP. The repair will excavate 42 linear feet in an 8 foot wide 8-10 deep trench within Lone Tree Creek to pinpoint a pipeline anomaly. A temporary staging area 30 feet by 300 feet will be required on the north bank of Lone Tree Creek. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2015-0246-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.

Project is less than 8 miles in length, the length of disturbance is less than one-half mile at any given time, the pipeline is not within 8 miles of a pipeline that has been exempted previously in the past 12 months, the project is not solely for the excavation of soil contaminated with hazardous material, and plans have been prepared as required by law by the applicant undertaking the project in advance to the appropriate agencies in the event of an emergency evacuation of the public close to proximity of the project.
