Document Description
The Mountain Rim Fire Safe Council's (MRFSC) Crest Forest Fire Safe Demonstration Site Project will assist a homeowner who is in need of defensible space or has received a citiation under State (PRC4291) and/or local (San Bernardino County Code Section 23.0304) defensible space clearance requirements by creating defensible space on their property and using the site as a defensible space demonstration site. An open house event will be held by the MRFSC in conjunction with CalFire and local fire departments to provide tours of the property and defensible space information and education. The MRFSC will advertise the event at the MRFSC's public events/meetings, in local newspapers and/or online and send invitations to nearby property owners.
