Document Description
The project consisted of constructing riprap reinforcement along 16-20 feet of the bank of an un-named ephemeral stream tributary to Zanja De Cota Creek. The Permittee, prior to execution of a Streambed Alteration Agreement, had partially completed the project. The purpose of the project is to dissipate energy from water flows coming down off of the proposed driveway prior to entering the stream. After meeting with CDFW staff, the project was changed to require loose cobble and gravel instead of concrete grout in the voids between the riprap, planting of native vegetation, and keying in the riprap. A noticification was subsequently submitted for the project.
