The project would repair eroding rip rap along the shoreline at McKegney Park in Tiburon with rip rap placement above the mean high water line along small stretches where it is the most needed to protect a highly used public trail on the waterfront and a Sewerage Agency of Southern Marin (SASM) sewer main. Erosion sites would be repaired by removing remnant rip rap, placing or repairing geotextile fabric as needed, replacing existing rip rap, and adding additional rip rap to achieve stability. Repairs would be made within SASM's existing maintenance easement on Town of Tiburon land on a total of 520 linear feet of shoreline.
Construction is repair of an existing faciliy with no expansion of footprint or use.
