The project is to restore Little Butte Creek's watershed health and provide improved wildland fire safety by enhancing the forest ecosystem and water shed protection by thinning densely, overstocked trees and brush. The project is a partnership between Paradise Irrigation Distirct, Butte County Fire Safe Council, and the Sierra Nevada Conservancy.
Minor alteration of vegetation including fuel management activities to reduce the volume of flammable vegetation, provided the activities do not result in the taking of endangered, rare, or threatened plant/animal species, or cause significant erosion or sedimentation of surface waters.
Maintenance of existing public facilities including native growth.
