The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in cooperation with Calaveras County, proposes to mitigation for project impacts resulting from the State Route 4 Wagon Trail Realignment Project by placing a conservation easement and completing habitat enhancements on a 41-acre portion of Parcel #040-002-027-000 about 13.5 miles north of the State Route 4 Wagon Trail Realignment Project.
