Document Description
The project includes the installation of approximately 650 feet of 24 foot wide roadway. The proposed road will be located approximately 30 to 50 feet east of the existing road. The existing unimproved utility road (not open for public use) will be abandoned. The access roadway alignment will move any traffic further away from the beach and vegetation near the coastline. The project will not add additional roadway it will only replace the existing length of roadway. The Beachfront Park Maintenance project includes placing approximately five thousand cubic yards of fill onto low and uneven areas of the park to maintain a level hazard free surface for recreational and sports activities. When spread out the fill will be at depth of one foot or less.
