Document Description
The project is an expansion of the Valley Vista Trail at the Valley Vista Regional Park that will implement recommendations in the Yolo County Parks and Open Space Master Plan for the development of additional hiking trails. All trail construction will occur on Yolo County park property and will be built to Forest Service standards. Trail development will be implemented by volunteer labor using hand tools to cut and shape the trail bed, trim brush, and install directional trail marker posts. The project is expected to take 600 hours to complete and will occur during late fall through early spring months, until approximately four miles of additional trails have been constructed.
