Document Description
The District will relocate the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to property owned by the District adjacent to Tuolumne Utilities District's (TUD) Quartz Reservoir site. The District will construct new secondary treatment facilities, and continue discharging under the TUD waste discharge permit. In addition, a tertiary treatment and disinfection facility for a sidestream of approx. 30% of the design flow would be included. Tertiary treated water will be available to the public at an onsite recycled water fill station for on-site pick-up and off-site use at currently undefined locations. The existing Wood's Creek WWTP would continue to operate to a limited extent as a support facility for the Quartz facility. Administration offices would relocate to the Quartz site.
