Jamestown Sanitary District Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Evaluation of Alternatives
ADM - Addendum
Present Land Use
Alternatives 1/2: Public GP: Public/Open Space zoning
Alts. 3/4: Public GP, Public, Open Space, AG-20 zoning
Note: Review Per Lead
Evaluation of four alternatives to improve JSD's ability to meet regulatory requirements for wastewater treatment. Alternatives 1 & 2 at the present WWTP (3.8 acres) along Wood's Creek SE of Jamestown would provide either secondary (Alternative 1) or tertiary (Alternative 2) treatment. Alternatives #3 and 4 JSD's vacant Quartz property (63 acres) adjacent to Tuolumne Utilities District's Quartz Reservoir in Stent /Quartz would provide either 70% secondary and 30% tertiary (Alt 3) or 100% tertiary (Alt 4) treatment at a new facility. Tertiary treated effluent would be available for on site pick up and off site use. Alts 3 and 4 include relocating the Main St administration offices to the Quartz Site.
