Document Description
The project implements two turf replacement programs described in the Santa Clarita Valley Water Use Efficiency Strategic Plan. The programs offer rebates on a per square foot of turf removed basis to both residential and commercial customers. Turf will be replaced with water efficient plants/permeable hardscape. The programs are designed to save over 500 acre-feet of potable water in the Castaic Lake Water Agency service area over three years.
