Document Description
Project moves three large boulders from the channel of Patrick Creek (which werre deposited in stream channel during a slide event in the 2014/15 winter) and replaces them along the east bank of Patrick Creek to armor and stabilize the creek bank from further erosion and scour and prevent further loss of County road.

Reasons for Exemption
This is a short term project determined to be necessary by the County Engineer to prevent further loss of County road infrastructure ove the winter when the creek level rises and further scouring would occur. The loss of the County road due to further scour of the creek bank would jeopardize access to critical public utilities (main transmission line to Crescent City) and access to the National Forest.
