Document Description
The proposed project would entail removing and replacing existing asphaltic concrete surfaces on the Markham MS campus to accommodate drainage improvements. Approximately 59,300 square feet (sf) of parking area and approximately 95,400 sf of playground area and areas between buildings would be resurfaced. There wouild also be path of travel (POT) improvements to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
In accordance with Proposition 84 funding requirements, the proposed project would also include the installation of approximately 19,200 sf of subterranean infiltration systems and 7,200 sf of bio-swale areas in the parking lot, playground, and soccer field areas.
