Document Description
The proposed project involves installation of an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) unit on the 4th floor of the District's Administration Building and an upgrade to the existing electrical panels on the 4th and 5th floors of the District's Administration Building located in the City of San Diego During an electrical power outage, the servers at the District Administration Buidling are currently powered from an existing 40 kilowatt (kW) UPS that is connected to an emergency generator. The existing UPS has reached its maximum load capacity and can no longer support additional electrical loads. As such, the proposed project will install a new 100 kW UPS unit on the 4th and 5th floor that will increase the available UPS capacity.
