The project applicant is proposing a restaurant and dance hall within an existing building located at 900 E. Polk Street. The project will require significant tenant improvements and off-site infrastructure. The new uses will be located in the existing 16,656 s/f building. The proposed use is consistent with local zoning laws.
The proejct is consistent with the General Plan and Local zoning regulations; is within the City limits of the City of Coalinga and currently developed; surrounded by fully developed land; provides not value as habitat for endangered species; the site is adeqyately served with public utilities ready for connection; and the project has been determined not to result in a significant effects to noise, traffic, air quality, and water quality.
