The California Department of Transportation under the State Highway Operation and Protection Program (program code 201,315) is proposing install Traffic Monitoring Systems (TMSs), fiber optic lines, and their related infrastructures including service cabinets, controller cabinets, CCTV cameras, and roadway weather information systems on Interstate 5 (I-5) and State Route 99 (SR) 99 at various location in Merced, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin Counties.
