Document Description
Draft EIS for the Tejon Indian Tribe Trust Aquisition and Casino Project. The proposed action is the acquisition of approximately 306-acres of fee land in trust by the United States upon which the Tejon Indian Tribe would construct a gaming facility and associated facilities. The Proposed Project consists of the construction of an approximately 715,800-sf casino resort, an RV park, fire and sheriff stations, and associated facilities such as water treatment and disposal facilities on the subject property, which is located in unincorporated Kern County, immediately west of the town of Mettler and approximately 14 miles south of the City of Bakersfield.
