Document Description
A Use Permit application no. PA-1500111 of Charles M. and Elizabeth B. Spenker to establish a creamery and associated goat dairy to make artisan cheeses, goat milk yogurt, and frozen yogurt. The dairy will contain a max of forty goats. The project includes the construction of a 900 sf animal barn with an attached animal yard and the construction of a 3,276 sf multipurpose building to include a wine and cheese manufacturing facility with an associated tasting room and retail sales area for wine, cheese, and yogurt, a commercial kitchen, a milking barn, and an animal pen. The project was previously approved for a winery that currently operates within an existing 2,400 sf building. The winery will relocate to the proposed 3,276 sf multipurpose building. The existing 2,400 sf building will be converted into an agricultural storage building. No marketing events were approved with the existing winery nor proposed with this application.
