Document Description
The Corralitos Creek Diversion and fish ladder is located on Eureka Canyon Road in Corralitos, Santa Cruz County, California approximately 1.3 miles north of the intersection with Hames, Corralitos and Browns Valley Roads. A surface water diversion has operated at the site continuously since the late 1870's, initially providing water to the Town of Corralitos and by 1896 to Watsonville. The City of Watsonville formally acquired the diversion facility in 1923 and continues to use it for municipal water supply.
