Document Description
The proposed project is a comprehensive update to the Tuolumne County General Plan (hereinafter referred to as the "General Plan Update"). The General Plan Update, which updates the 1996 General Plan, establishes the community's vision for the development of Tuolumne County through the year 2040 and will serve as the fundamental land use policy document for the County. The General Plan Update consists of two components: the Countywide General Plan and Community Plans, which relate to the communities of Jamestown, Columbia, East Sonora, Tuolumne, and Mountain Springs. The General Plan Update includes goals, policies and implementation programs to guide the development of Tuolumne County through the year 2040. In addition this project includes revisions to the zoning ordinance, title 17.
