Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SCL-43320-R3), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Tess Byler/San Francisquito Joint Powers Authority and Michel Jeramias/City of Palo Alto.
The purpose of this project is to remove the existing functionally obsolete bridge on Newell Road and the current bridge abutments in San Francisquito Creek and replace it with a wider bridge and abutments outside the creek channel. Mitigation activities will include replanting at the Reller Restoration site and performing invasive species removal just upstream of the bridge site.
