The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0263-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, the Tahoe City Public Utility District. The project is limited to the construction and operation of the West Lake Tahoe Regional Water Treatment Plant to replace the Seasonal Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at Chambers Landing for the purpose of providing a year-round reliable water source for the west shore communities of Lake Tahoe.
