Document Description
The Tahoe City Public Utility District will construct a water treatment plant at Lodge Drive/SR 89 in the community of Tahoma. The capacity at phase 1 will be 650 gallons per min, increasing to a max of 1,100 gallons per min in phase 2. An electrical/chemical feed room will be constructed at the site of the existing interim water treatment plant after the existing plant is decommissioned and demolished. The pump station at Chambers Landing Beach and raw water pipeline will be replaced with a new raw water pipeline and pumps submerged within Lake Tahoe.
