Document Description
GP15-001; Z15-002; U15-004; EIS15-006. A combined application proposed by the Truckee Tahoe Airport District requesting: 1) a general plan amendment for 4.81 acre portion of the larger 225-acre Airport property from industrial community commercial; 2) a zoning map amendment (ZDM No. 139) for a 4.81 acre portion of the larger 225 acre airport property from light-industrial-site performance, with the SP requiring airport related uses, to Community commercial; and 3) a use permit proposing a 12,840 sf office/warehouse building and associated improvements including parking, lighting, signage and landscaping with 10,840 sf dedicated to office use and 2,000 sf dedicated to rental car use. Project includes demolition of the existing car rental building and the repurposing of the existing long term airport parking, construction of new office, car rental, and long term airport parking, and the widening of Truckee Tahoe Airport Road including the undergrounding of overhead utilities.
