The property is currently being used as the District's transportation facility, which will be moved to another location. The proposed alternative education facility will house the District's continuation high school, community day school, independent study and vocational education programs. The site may also house an infant care center in a separate building. The Alternative Education facility programs would enroll an approximate maximum of 300 students and employ approximately 30 faculty and staff.
