The Lead Agency is proposing to install a photovoltaic energy plant at its wastewater treatment plant. The photovoltaic energy plant will provide renewable energy for the District's use. The photovoltaic panels and associated improvements will be constructed within LPUD's previously disturbed wastewater treatment site. The project is located in Weedpatch, an unincorporated area of Kern County, adjacent to the intersection of SR 223 (East Bear Mountain Blvd) and Wildman Road in Section 24, T31S, R28E, MDB&M. The project will be constructed within existing Lamont Public Utility District Property (APN 185-300-14).
