Document Description
The proposed project would be the development of a chassis facility for the distribution, storage and maintenance of chassis used to move cargo containers. The facility would support the Long Beach Container Terminal operations at Middle Harbor for a period of up to 7 years. The facility would be located on a 13.24 acre site in the Northeast Harbor District. The facility components would include: ingress and egress gates, administration and staff trailers, on-site parking spaces and designated areas for chassis storage, chassis maintenance, parts/miscellaneous storage, and tire support.
