Document Description
The Modified Project, as revised from the original Environmental Impact Report (EIR), involves the expansion of an existing fire lane in the northeast portion of the District’s Menifee Valley Campus. Specifically, the project will widen a 290-linear-foot segment of the fire lane by approximately 2 to 8 feet, resulting in a 20-foot-wide fire lane to comply with current fire code standards. In addition to these physical improvements, updates to the mitigation measures have been incorporated to address the recent candidacy listing of the Burrowing Owl under the California Endangered Species Act (CESA).
