Document Description
The City of Hermosa Beach has initiated a comprehensive program to update its General Plan and Local Coastal Program (PLAN Hermosa). OPR 2003 General plan guidelines suggest integration of the general plan and local coastal program into a "coherent and internally consistent local general plan. As such the city has decided to update both the general plan and the LCP at this time. The general plan and lcp update addresses land use; mobility; parks, recreation, and open space; coastal hazards; water quality; air quality and climate change; noise; and other issues that are important to the community. The LCP consists of two parts: a coastal land use plan and a local implementation plan.
