The project is an acquisition of land for wildlife conservation purposes, and Sec 15325, Class 25, as a transfer of an ownership interest in land to preserve open space and habitat. There is no reasonable possibility that the project will have a significant effect on the environment, or damage scenic resources. It is not located on or near a listed hazardous waste site and it will not cause adverse change to a significant historical resource. Any future improvements or other alterations to the property will be subject to further CEQA review.
